Community Guidelines
Keeping Kurr respectful and safe
Last updated: 7 June 2026
Kurr is an anonymous community, which makes respectful behavior even more important. These guidelines describe what's expected of everyone who posts or comments, what content isn't allowed, and what happens if content or an account doesn't follow them.
Respectful communication
Disagreement and debate are a normal part of any community. Keep criticism directed at ideas, not people; assume good faith; and express disagreement without personal attacks, insults, or pile-ons. Content that crosses from disagreement into harassment or abuse is covered below and is not allowed.
Content that is not allowed
Harassment and bullying
- Personal attacks directed at another user
- Threats or intimidation
- Repeated, targeted harassment of the same person
Hate speech
Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
Threats and violence
- Threats of violence against any person or group
- Encouraging or glorifying violence
- Graphic violent content
Abusive or adult content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content
- Sexual exploitation of any kind
- Links to adult websites
Illegal content
- Drug trafficking
- Human trafficking
- Fraud or scams
- Any other content that facilitates illegal activity
Self-harm content
- Promotion or encouragement of suicide or self-harm

- Repeated or duplicate content
- Advertising abuse
- Misleading content
Reporting inappropriate content
Every post and comment in the app can be reported directly from within Kurr. If you see content that breaks these guidelines, use the Report option on that post or comment and choose the reason that best describes the issue. Reports are anonymous to other users and are sent to our moderation system for review.
Content moderation
Kurr uses a combination of automated checks and report-based review to help enforce these guidelines:
- Content that a number of different users report is automatically placed under review and, if reports continue, hidden from the community pending a decision.
- Some categories of content may be automatically flagged for review at the time they're posted.
- Our moderation team reviews flagged and reported content and can restore it, remove it, or take action on the account, depending on what the review finds.
- Repeated or severe violations can result in content removal and account restrictions or suspension.
